Sleek, compact hotplates combine top-of-the-line performance with space-saving economy. Units feature a low-profile design (3 in.H) and exceptionally small footprint for convenient use in hoods and on benchtops. Ideal for sample drying and general lab heating in environments between 4° to 40°C (39° to 104°F). Operating Features: Low profile, small footprint fit anywhere in lab. Easy-grip control knob with graduated markings for simple settings. Embedded heating elements provide temperature stability of ±2%. All models heat to within 5% of their maximum temperature in 10 minutes. Base has rear built-in support rod mount with thumbscrew that accommodates rods up to 13mm dia. Safety Features: Control knob turns one way only and locks to prevent accidental high-heat settings. Heating surface and cast-aluminum base are contoured to prevent liquid spills from damaging internal components. For added safety, an LED lights whenever power is on, and a separate “hot-top” indicator lights whenever hotplate is above 40°C (104°F) to guard against burns.
